To Daddy With Love Freebie Part 3

Here's Part 3 of the To Daddy With Love freebie. It contains 4 painted wood buttons, 3 metal frames, 2 painted wood frames, 2 journaling boxes and 2 paper cutout frames. I am planning to do 1-2 more parts, and hope to include some word art, ribbons, an overlay or 2 and an alpha, and maybe a couple tags. Depending on how happy I am with the finished collection, I might also do a couple quick pages!

Father's Day Freebie Part 2

Here's part 2 to the kit - 4 additional papers (although I like the ones from yesterday much better) and a really cool cast pewter brad set. Next up is a set of frames, photo mats, journaling boxes and some word art. Hope you enjoy!

A little freebie ahead of Father's Day

I was messing around with some fonts that I've used with my CraftRobo and I decided to create a little collection of masculine colors and images. I thought some of you might be able to use these for Father's Day photos. I'll be working on elements over the next couple weeks and will try to put a few elements up every day or every other day.

I Found a Great New Designer!

There are so many digital designers out there that sometimes it's hard to remember where to go to look for kits and/or freebies. I came across Joanne at Angel in My Pocket Designs when I was surfing around, and she is offering a freebie kit now called Sweet Orange Blitz. It is totally scrumptious! Here's a layout I did with her papers and elements. I also used Atomic Cupcake's inked edge action.

My new favorite digital layout

This digital layout was inspired by a guest Creative Team Challenge on Feeling Scrappy. Not sure if you can see in the small photo, but my daughter's eyes are brown in the black and white. Credits:

I have nearly failed at blogging

and I have DEFINITELY failed at digital design! After a brief flurry of creation, I have been so busy the last couple months that I have barely had time to catch up with my own layouts (including finishing out the first year in Alexa's dance and school days albums). Between Alexa's birthday (three parties), dance rehearsal and recital, Mother's Day, getting ready to sell our house, and just general craziness, things have been, well, crazy! I have managed to get a few layouts done and below are a few of my favorites. I really do plan to get back to design and offering freebies, but no promises as to when. We're hoping to take a trip to Russia in early June :).

Here are a couple paper layouts I did for my Book of Me (the first uses stock photography):

and here's another paper (based on a Becky Fleck pagemap):

And finally, some digital. The first two are based on sketches by my friend Amy, who is battling cancer. You can visit her sketch blog HERE.
