Layouts!

It's getting kind of sad that I'm only updating my blog once a month or so. I really do intend to get back to it sometime soon!

Randomness

My poor neglected blog....I really need to come back to you!

We lost our furbaby Raven this past weekend. The house is quiet and sad :(. More about her in an upcoming post.

Apparently I use the word "sweet" way too often in layout titles - here are a couple more!

Created using Daydreams and Jellybeans by Traci Reed, DST's July 2011 Gold Member Kit.

And the second is with Huntington by Liz Tamanaha of Paislee Press, DST's May 2011 Gold Member Kit. It features one of my very favorite quotes by Brian Andreas.

Love Me Some Templates!

One of the best things about being on the creative team at Jessica Sprague is having access to so many fantastic layout templates. They definitely make scrapping much quicker! A couple layouts I did recently using templates - credits under each!

Another hybrid gift idea!

I made this for Alexa to give her teacher for Valentine's Day - using the Perfect Packaging: Heart Cup Template by iKari Designs and papers and elements from the Affectionate collection by Carina Gardner. I'll wrap it up in plastic and tie it with ribbon! Cute and easy!

One little word?

If you're a scrapbooker, you probably already know about the One Little Word initiative by Ali Edwards. In a nutshell, Ali and many of her fans each choose a single word each year to signify an areas of focus - words like organize, balance, serenity, peace are all commonly chosen.

I'm still trying to figure out my word for this year. I've been tossing around a lot of ideas and a lot of words, and I just haven't hit on the right one yet. Sigh.

But, that hasn't stopped me from getting some layouts done! Hope you enjoy.

Hybrid makes it easy!

I absolutely love printing my own gift bags, boxes and tags - it's so easy to perfectly customize them to look exactly the way you want them to look.

Here are a couple recent projects. The first uses Christmas Goodie Bags and Christmas Recipe Cards by Elle's Studio - the bags are the perfect size to slip in six small cookies and a gift card!

And the second project just adds a sparkly bow and Christmas Gift Tags (also by Elle's Studio) to locally made candles to make a simple gift!
